Very nice job!! I have been waiting for soundman to release their kit so I can get mine started. I am planning on installing a internet router on my truck to make mine work, Verizon has outrageous data prices!

Finally done with all the fabrication and paint... just gotta extend the wire harness for the hazard lights and stuff, and wire up my stuff. Its all downhill from here!

Looks awesome. I know mine won't look nearly as good as yours does, But I think I have a good general idea of what I've got to do. I think the perfection is in the bondo work....we shall see. I'm still not completely cool with cutting up some stuff and extending harnesses....but I know it will look good if I keep at it and make it perfect. At least all modifications that require cutting and fab on the truck itself are beneath the radio face..

I almost went for a Galaxy tab 10.1...but the screens are significantly wider and the iPiddy is just made for that space.

Thanks bro! Just remember that if u are as precise as possible with your plastic cutting and gluing, u will barely use any bondo.. soundman uses a skim coat on the whole face while i just used it on the seams of my plastic work.. then i coated with SEM primer, Sem landau color coat and SEM low luster clear. I personally have no problem hacking up my 3 month old truck as long as it's done right!

Maybe I should just say f**k it and get a 2013

How'd you do the PTM dash pieces?
If you think the nav system in the 2013's is better than the prior version think again. I am warning folks here that the system sucks. I know this is a thread jack but I am about to lemon a 2013 Taurus sho because every time I turn my steering wheel to the right the nav screen changes by itself. About 10 other issues. Had them since day one. Besides now the default screen contains little useful info. Before you at least had a nav screen that displayed a map. New does not equal better.

Thanks bro! Im impressed with the lil nav as well.. thats too bad about the 2013 navs tho :/ this mod isnt about putting tunes and nav in a car tho, i did it cuz it looks badass and it will make the truck unique! So screw a 2013 nav! Haha

Extended the wire harness for the hazard/airbag lights, took about 15 minutes!
