Default Tires

Hey everyone!
I am new to the forum. Just need a little help here. I have a 2012 XLT with tires being 275/65R18 and I am between two tires right now. The Hankook Dynapro ATM and the Yokohama Geolandar AT G015. I have debated over several tires and I'm down to these two because of the mileage people are getting out of both. I like to camp and get off-road occasionally, but the majority of my daily driving is highway which is why I'm going with an AT tire instead of an MT. Any thoughts? Has anyone here owned either of these?

While I can't answer for those tire choices, I'll welcome you to the forum. A good place to come for answers, and I'm sure you will find yours. Use the search function and see what you can get on those tires. Happy hunting.

While I haven't had either of those tires, I have heard/read good things about the Yoko Geolandar G015.

I actually just bought a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. Great tire at a great price. However my second choice was the G015s. But I wanted something a little more rugged.

The Hankook dynapros atm come with a factory rebate, that I think is good till the end of sept. And if there are Discount Tire stores near you, they have addition rebates for this week end.

Im getting a set installed this week end. I think the two rebates saves me $140 or so.

I have the falkens on my Jeep Wrangler and like them.

Ok, got them installed today. I have a stock 2012, reg cab, stx, v6. Had stock factory 235/75/17 Hankook street tires with 67,000 miles, that still had another 5-6k miles life left.

Went with Hankook ATMs in a 255/70/17 size. Basically same height but 3/4" wider.

Rebates are $60/Hankook. $75/Discount Tire.

I can post more pics if you'd like.

thanks for the reply... very helpful info. I'll look into that before the Labor Day sales are all gone.
