So if you're trying to just do a muffler swap, you'll be limited to the one I already have , or some other manufacturer with a 4-4 in/out. If only there was room for the resonator, I think I could dial this system in, but no room!
This is why I'm looking for a smaller diameter system with the resonator, more room to play around with fine tuning, if I even need to. I've decided to give the Magnaflow 15461 a try as I've heard nothing but great reviews, and the price is acceptable.
Let me know if you've got any more questions!

Looking for options on my new to me 2010 with the 5.4.
The factory exhaust drown is horrible and the different pitches at the varying rpms especially at WOT leave much to be desired. I'm one that loves the V8 drone and have been missing it for the last 5 years when I traded my Charger SRT8 for my first of several twin turbo 3.5 Ford engines.
I know the 5.4 isn't the best sounding engine but any recommendations and sound clips anyone can point me to for a good system that adds the V8 rumble with consistent even deaper sounds at the varying rpms, i.e. Idle, daily driving and WOT.
Wouldn't want a lose in power since this engine is already a power downgrade from what I'm used to.
thanks

I'm going to give the aeroturbine resonated muffler a shot. Supposed to cancel cab drone and keep sound. For close to $100 why not. I love the sound of the mr400, but just hate the drone, especially towing. It's marketed more for the diesel world with 4" plus exhausts, but worth a try.

Another vote here for Borla S-Type. Great sound on the 5.0. I had some peeling on one of the tips after 1 year. I asked them about sending a new tip since it comes with a lifetime warranty. I figured I'd just pay someone to weld a new tip in place and they sent two brand new pipes instead. I just bolted the new ones to the muffler and shipped the old ones back. No questions asked. Not even a dime for shipping.

I thought those tips were polished?
