2010 FX4. Nothing fancy just some 275/60/20's

 

Just bought a used 2014 XL Reg Cab, 4x4, 8ft bed.
Previous owner had 285/45R22 on it.
The ride is harsher than I prefer.
There are no suspension mods that I can see.
I have an opportunity to buy take offs:
275/65R18 wheels & tires from a 2017.
Anyone know if this will fit my truck?

Yes they will fit. The rice will be better too since now you have some sidewall

 

Yes the bigger the rim the harsher the ride. Less sidewall = less tire to compress.

 

2013 F150 XLT 5.0 4x4
Eibach Pro Truck Shocks and Springs @ about 2.5" lift
35x11.50x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers required some trimming
BFG KO3 295/65/20 required alot more trimming, no more plastic to trim on the back of the front wheel well. Gonna have to either trim some metal or add wheel spacers.
