Hi Everyone! I have a pretty vanilla Ford F150 XL, standard cab, 8 foot bed, 2WD. Mostly a work truck, but doubles for personal transportation as well. I'm looking at a pretty conservative zero plus tire upsize. Current tires are stock 235/75R17 and I want to go up to 255/70R17. That gives about the smallest diameter increase with standard sizes available, while keeping the same wheel size. So should this be just straightforward and problem free? Anything I should be aware of or look out for? Thanks for your assistance!

I sold the 18" wheels and tires that came on my XLT and found some 20" wheels off of a 17' lariat and couldn't pass on the price. I think they look pretty good but figured i would ask and see what the crowd thinks.

I really like the look. What's the side profile look like and also what tires did you put on it?

Default Level and 35"s

Don't fit!!
Went with a Bilstein went with a Bilstein level on all four corners. Set at 2.25. with BFG ko2 35 by 12 and a half by 17. They fit fine they just won't turn anywhere. LOL.. not sure what to do now.
I think it looks great but I kinda need to drive it around.

Added 2.5\" rear block

With 2\" spacers

I saw the other pic in the other thread. I think you need to go to a smaller tire or start cutting. That’s way stuffed.

No offense but didn't you do some research before trying to stuff such big tires on with only a level? I don't think any amount of cutting and trimming will make those fit without rubbing. Do yourself a favor and check out the gallery at customoffsets.com to get an idea what exactly you'll get away with. Again.. no offense intended! Good luck!

I tried to find the screenshots that I saved from this forum of people who have the same setup. Either a Bilstein level 2.25 or a rough country 2.5 that have stuffed 35s into their wheel wells and somehow made it work. But I will check out custom offsets thank you

I’m pretty sure the offset from the raptor wheels and the spacer you added have something to do with it.
