2WD? No idea. 33" maybe? (275/60/20)

4WD? 34.1" would be my guess (275/65/20)

Although, this member claims to have 34.6" (285/65/20) with no rubbing at all:

Also depends on the tire and which 20" wheel you have.

I'm definitely no expert - just what I found from a quick scan of the tire/wheel fitment guide.

Hope this helps.

Its definitely not cut and dry but after spending a while reading through here nothing was definitive, it'll be on the stock wheel. Stock is 275/55 I know 27565 should fit. I didn't know if anyone has gone taller than that. ND its 4wd

I have a '14 2wd stx sport. Have a 2" level kit coming and stock 20" wheels. What's the best tire size to avoid rubbing or trimming? Was looking at 305/55/20 nitto terra grapplers but not sure if they will fit. Pic of truck for reference.

Others have run that size stock with no issues

as i posted earlier, these are 295 70 17 nitto trail grapplers on XD Addict 17x9 with -12mm offset. Rough Country 2.5 level. Also i replaced the XTR badge with a custom Coyote and Canada Maple leaf logo with Coyote 5.0 lettering in the leaf
The Stock wheels were +44mm offset.
These XD's are -12mm(difference of 56mm or 2.20inches).
Also the xd's are 9" instead of the stock 8.5". this would put 1/4 difference of wheel width on either side of the hub so you would add the 2.2" of offset difference with the 1/4" addition of wheel size would now be 2.45" farther out than the stock wheel's. I like it!
your +18mm offset (assuming your wheel is also a 9" width) is 30mm less offset than mine. = 1.18". Your's will stick out about 1.25 inches farther than stock.

Hey all,

This thread is great. Thank you for putting it together. Especially whoever made and posted that spreadsheet in the first post.

So I need new tires and I have trouble resisting the urge to modify my vehicles. This is my first time ever owning a truck so I'm a complete newb to this.

I have a 2011 RWD screw xlt. I bought a set of bilstein 5100s and plan to set the front on the top setting which I believe is about a 2.5" lift. It seems from the chart that people are able to run 275-70-18 (33" diameter) tires with a 2.5" lift front if they run the oem 4x4 blocks rear.

Here's the problem: I have no idea what blocks are lol (ok, I have some idea). But is this something I can just order the part from the dealership? What else needs to be ordered with it? Or should I look to buy it used off of someone on the forums? And if so, what else do I need with it?

My plan is to just have the dealership install the suspension. They quoted me $90 to do the struts all around, so I'm hoping the blocks is something else they can do for not much more money.

Lastly, can the dealership re-program the ecu for the new tire size? I mean, is the speedo going to always be off if I increase tire size? or is this something easy for them to do?

Thanks for the help!
