Default Better option

I am about to do a 2" Rancho level and 285/70 17 Duratracs on my 10 4x4 SCab and am going back and forth on wheels. Maybe someone can sway me one way or another.

Which would give me better fit? This truck may see some very light off-roading in the future and I want to prevent any rubbing at full lock or full articulation, but it's still too new for me to bring myself to do any trimming yet.

1. Factory 17" wheels
2. Something like these Dick Cepeks?
Offset: 6mm
Backspacing: 5.04"

I just purchased a 2014 Platinum 4X4 and want to level it out. Any suggestions on a leveling kit/shocks/spacer?

Thanks...

Bilstein 5100 shocks set at .75" or 1.5"

Perfect level, improved handling, $220 for a pair.

Is it necessary to have the front end aligned after the leveling (spacer or shocks)?

2009 STX 2WD, 2.5" auto spring level, 2" rear blocks, 275/70/18 Nitto Terras on stock wheels. Just got everything installed today. Tires clear with plenty of room. Picked up tires for under $900 delivered. Level was right at $200 delivered.

2013 with 275/65 R18 Goodyear AT Adventure on 18 x 9" Worx 803 Beast with +25 offset.

Actually went down about 1 to 2 lbs. per tire/wheel vs. stock. No mileage loss, definitely looks better!

1.5" AS level. 20x8.5 rims (+15 offset) 295/65/20 Toyo AT II Extremes. no rubbing after trimming. Tires are great. so smooth and quieter than my MTs by far. recommend the setup if you want the biggest tire you can stuff under there without lifting.

Hey Gus, love the look of the truck! I'm after the exact same look, although I have an FX2, which leads me to my question...

I'm new to the forums, however I've been reading through quite a few of these posts before I decided to write one myself. I haven't seen much regarding FX2 F150s with stock 20" wheels. I would love some feedback from anyone who has run something similar to what I want to do. Here is what I have currently and what I'm after:

My Truck: 2014 F-150 FX2 Super Crew. Stock 20" wheels with stock P275/55/R20 tires.

This will be primarily for highway driving with little off-road use. Honestly, I'm mostly after the look here.

I've read several posts, and I'm thinking (although I'm open to opinion or suggestion) of going with a leveling kit from either Autospring or Readylift, whichever has higher recommendations. I don't know which size I need, but I really want a great proportioned look. It'll depend on the tire selected, I'm sure. Most likely it'll be around 1.5" - 2.5"?

The one thing I know I want are the tires. Toyo Open Country A/T II, but again size is what's killing me. Which size makes the most sense for the best look with a leveling kit? I really like the look of Gus' truck, but his is an FX4.

Does anyone have any recommendations for me? I'm keeping my stock wheels, so I'm hoping someone can say "you want a 2.5" leveling kit for the front, 1.5" for the back, and Toyo Open Country A/T II 'LT295/60R20' and they should fit and look awesome." I;m open to a slightly wider tire, as I think it looks pretty cool, but I want everyday drivability first and foremost. Comfort and noise are also factors, but I know I can't have it all. I've heard that this particular tire is fairly quiet.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help!!!
