2011 Fx4 5.0l
Rancho "QuickLift" leveling kit
Method Race Wheels 17" NV
Toyo Open Country ATII 35x12.50x17
had to trim a little plastic so it won't rub at full lock. only rubs now backing out of an incline for a second. I'll probably end up with the Icon coilovers and upper arms sooner than later.

What is the back spacing on your Method NV's. Did you have to trim any sheet metal?
I am thinking about getting the Method NV's in a 20in SIze with 35x12.5x20 Toyo MT and am worried I will have to trim some sheet metal.
I find it very hard to figurer out what works on here haha. My goal is to squeez 35in Tires on my FX4 with my AS 2.5 kit on there without trimming sheet metal.

After several days of searching through threads I'm finally going to break down and just ask for some help...
What size tires can I put on my truck w/o having any rubbing issues? It's a 2011 FX2 Screw Eco. I want to keep the stock 20" rims and I just installed the 2" HBS level kit.
I'm planning on going with the Trail Grapplers...
I've never owned a truck or dealt with aftermarket rims/tires before. I bought the truck new(ish) but it was being loaned out to a football coach from the dealership. I may be mistaking but it looks like the front tire walls have already been trimmed??

I recently got 175/70/18 Hankook Dynapro ATm's. They look SO much better than the stock tires. Before I didn't really like the look of the stock chrome wheels, but I really like them now with the new rubber. No problems with rub or anything, which I wasn't expecting any. They are 10 ply, so they are firmer over bumps in city roads, but I wouldn't want anything less on the horrible dirt roads I drive on in the oil field. It took soft ball sized rocks at 50 mph like they were nothing. I contribute part of this also to the taller tire than stock. Seems odd that they absorb the big hits much better than the stock tires, but are harsher on the road.
