Lost about 1 mpg. They are heavy tires. Got the computer set for the tire diameter (275 65 18) at the dealership. I had the hankooks before.

Anyone know what the tallest 18" and 20" tires in a P-rating are? I want to stay with a P-rated vs an LT tire to save on weight. Good AT tire that will work well for Canadian winter? The heavier LT tires really kill fuel economy, and the truck is used for 95% highway miles.

I do have a 6" lift, and do run 35" tires in the summer. Looking for a winter option.

I know a 275x60x20 is a P rated 33" tall tire. Nitto, Toyo and Michelin make them in that size. Most weigh around 43 to 46 lbs.

Check : Tire Rack.com

They have all the tire specs on alot of the tires, size-weight-width-dia.
thats where I bought my last set of BFG Rugged Terrian T/A's......as I could only get 33's in canada. I wanted 35-36", so looks like im going to a new set of rims and tires for summer use only......for my camping adventures...

I went from Perilli 31.9" to BFG 34.1" tires 20" and there was exactly 5lbs different in weight, and i wrote BFG for proper preasure and they said to add 5lbs PSI from stock PSI, which I already did when we mounted them......Just in case someone wants to know!!

Cheers!

I looked at some Rugged Terrains the other day at the local tire shop. They had some 275x60x20's which are a common size P rated tire 33X11. I asked about a 275x65x20 which show's an LT rating and 34x11 as you know and they didn't seem like they knew what I was talking about. Unless you deal with an offroad shop that's familiar with larger tires most run of the mill tire shop's are cluless dealing with tires larger then stock sizes. My daughter's Nissan Armada has 275x60x20 Michelin highway tread tires on it from the factory but the tread design wouldn't make it in offroad condition's that most 4x4 buyer's need.

I debated selling them and buying a set of the grey 20's. Glad I didn't, I love how they look.
