Tire / Rim People - I have a question
My neighbor showed up yesterday at home with a 2008 F150 King Ranch with aftermarket tires / rims on it. They are 305/55/20, which is only slightly larger than my current tires 265/70/18, but much thicker.
I'm curious about two things:
1) Will his tires/rims fit on my '09 2WD XLT vehicle without rubbing?
2) Here is a not-so-great pic of the tires/rims on his truck ... what is your opinion on them?
Here are my stock tires.
I'm just not sure if I'm sold on the black rims. Perhaps I'll trade him for a few days and see what I think, since he's just next door. I just thought I'd get other opinions on the matter while I'm here.

Looks like your truck is black, the rims will look great on it.
The tires may be a little big for a 2WD if its not atleast leveled. I think you will get a lillte rub here and there. I would ask to test fit BOTH front wheels atleast, and make some sharp turns with them on to test them. Make sure to test at full lock in foward and reverse.

I agree... do a fit and then you'll know. You will LOVE the 305/55/20's..
I have the xlt 4X4 and I cleared my wheels without a leveling kit, but I ended up doing the leveling anyways.

If it was me I would stay away from black rims. I just don't think black rims are appealing at all. I would stay stock before going with the black, but thats just my opinion. I personally like my tire and less rim as well.

The tires for some reason on Goalies truck seem to look bigger. Maybe its the more aggressive tread. I like the look with those tires goalie. How do they sound in the cab though? noisey?

In general I liked the grapplers, but had balancing issues and was looking for more aggressive look.
