Default tire question

I have stock 18 inch rims 2013 fx4 I believe 275/65/18 can I put a narrower tire like a 265 or 255 inch tire on

Yes, beleive the rims are 7.5 wide and a 255 is basically 10" wide and 265 is 10.5"

You will need to go to a higher aspect ratio to get the same tire circumference. A 255/70/18 and a 275/65/18 will be nearly identical in circumference.

Wondering why you want to go narrower?

There are a couple low rolling resistance tires out there that are supposed to help mpg. I wouldnt run a shorter tire than stock as it will raise your rpms, so like bob said adjust your aspect ratio when u go narrower. Weight also is a factor.
