Default tire question

ok, i know this is here somewhere in the tire fitment post, just trying to save time due to the 1000 posts....

i have a 2010 f150 xlt...

installing a 2.5" rough country leveling kit tomorrow..

will moto metal 18x9 -12 offset (4.53 backspacing) with 35x12.5 nitto mud grapplers fit? i really dont want to have to trim anything if possible, rims are MINT and tires have about 90% tread left, $1300 for the set up, so im kind of leaning towards it...

Mud grapplers have huge side lugs, so there may be some issues. I wouldn't know for sure though.

I just installed a set of 295/70/18 Nitto Trails (34X11) on a 2 inch level. My wheels were +18 offset. I had to trim a bit of the plastic at the front.

I would say that you may have to trim just a bit to get them to fit without rubbing.

Those wheel's will stick out 2 1/2 inches more then stock. With those tires you'll probably rub on the lower wheelwells and the valence when making hard turn's. Some trimming and hammering may get them to clear.

If the tires are mounted on the wheels, I would ask the seller to let you test fit the front tires so you know before you buy.

i got the rough country 2.5 leveling kit with 35x12.5x18 mud grapplers. i still have stock rims tho. i didnt have to trim anything. they only rubbed at full turn so i bought some 1/4 in. spacers and that fixed it. idk if theyll rub or not with your -12 offset. me and 06F150CFCT was talkin about it earlier, he said that when he had his leveling kit he had to buy +12 offset instead of the -12 cause they would rub bad. idk tho, like i said, i have stock haha. if your stock rims ar 18's then if they rub, just change the tires to your stock. easy fix.
