Default Tire pressure monitoring system standard on 2012?

I have a 2012 Screw XLT 5.0. I was told it had a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) standard. I just changed over my tires to winter tires on new rims without the TPMS and no light came on in the dash indicating a low or flat tire. Is a TPMS. Can anyone advise if a light should come in?

Ditto. don't just annoy me with a "low tire pressure" message and make me go guess which friggin tire is .5# low.

Honda pilot has that feature in the dash where you can see every tire pressure in real time. I was surprised my 2011 F150 didn't have this feature.

Stop bring lazy, you should be checking pressure regularly anyway. Lol. If mine comes on its because it has a leak.

TPMS is standard. The light will come-on after ~60miles.

Beat me to it. Guess it's to hard to grab the gauge, take the cap off each wheel and check it. And then of course put the cap back on each one. Soooo hard to do

Good thing you guys weren't born 10 years earlier...

I check my tires regularly especially with cold/warm weather changes we've had here of late and I don't mind at all. However, with a TPMS in our trucks and all the electronics and displays already in many of them, you think it would've been shown in the info screen at a minimum. It would be nice on a long trip as well or when temps are crazy and you are towing to see what the temps/load are doing to pressure to help avoid problems.

so you would rather pull out a gauge than see it on your dash which tire is low?
