Default tire poking out to far. possibly flares?

I have a 2012 xlt supercrew 5.5 pearl met. Blue with 17" stock rims. Put a set of 285/70/17 toyo at2 on and they now poke out about 1" to 1"1/4 past fender on the bottom of bed in rocker panel area. It is used on my familys farm and I cover the side with mud when I check water. I have a 2" level and soon a aal (hopefully). I am thinking about getting bushwacker extenda flares. Opinions?

I also have a few scratches from sagebrush around the wheel well and would like to prevent future scratches

I haven't had any experience with the Extend a Fenders personally, but I have always liked them. they provide an additional 1.75" of coverage on these trucks and they look very clean, almost factory, unlike the pocket flares with rivets which are quite gaudy in my opinion.

Bushwacker has great quality products that seems to hold up to anything you can throw at them. they seem pricey for little pieces of plastic, but I'd rather pay more and do it right the first time after getting screwed on some cheap Mustang body panels many years ago.

Deeregeff is a member on here, if you look him up and look on his profile he has pictures of his black Platinum with the Extend a Fenders. I remember his truck specifically because his is done almost exactly how I want to do my next King Ranch.

I like the clean look of the extenda flares. But not the $500 price plus paint. Anyone have a set they would like gone?
