Ive got a 2014 SuperCrew 4x4, and I just put 275/70/18 Firestone Transforce ATs on mine. They aren't aggressive at all but I was looking for a replacement for my Wranglers, which I had read horrible reviews about. I sold my Wranglers for $450 (they had 3,000 miles on them), and bought the Transforces for $400. So I broke even after mount and balance of the new tires. The Transforces were pull offs from a 2014 Dodge 2500 Cummins, and had 12 miles on them. They are 33" tall and only weigh 8 more pounds than the Wranglers. They are quiet and very comfortable. They fill the wheel well a lot better, and will last longer than the Wranglers. No loss in power or MPG's by moving up. Truck only has 4000 miles on it, so I am only getting about 17.2 mpg. Started at 13 mpg though lol, so I am steadily climbing.

This is stock. I have a 2" pro comp level to put on, just haven't had time and its been hotter than hell lately

I just put 275/70R18 Duratracs on my stock 2011 supercrew 4x4 with no fitment issues.

Just realize that 275/70R18 is going to be an LT tire so you will lose some MPG due to their increased weight and rolling resistance. I just bought a new set of tires this week and went with the stock size 275/65R18 General Grabber AT2 for $196/tire. The look great and have a $70 rebate that ends tomorrow.

I want to move up a notch to the 275/70/18 but why can't I find them in a P (passenger) tire. I like the idea of a tough LT tire but don't want to sacrifice the ride and noise. Do I have to settle for a 65 series tire?

I've seen a few 265/70r18's that were the same weight if not a pound less (for p-rated). I believe they are a 1/2in. taller than the stock 65, but they are about .3 inches skinnier. So, it depends on what you feel is more important. However, it is just a notch above stock.

All 275/70/18 are in LT from my research. From what I was told, unless I tow A LOT or do some serious off road driving to stick with the P.
