Tinted headlights
Hey guy. I have been looking around on here for a few days, I see some of you have tinted/smoked headlights. My question is what did you go with? Snap on covers or the ebay pre-cut stuff?
I found these caps, kind of like that the previous owner of my truck pu on the tails.

X3 for safety. I dunno why people think these are cool looking in exchange for safety at night.
More so how it's legal to sell these knowing it cuts down on your light's output.

Totally agree, safety always comes first. Especially for a blind guy like me. Just get a set of OEM projectors or spyders. Look better in my opinion and WAY more light output. A win win.

I installed the lightest smoke tinted vinyl precuts I could find on my 2011. After I installed them I was pretty unimpressed with the lack of visual difference as you could hardly tell I did anything at all. However even with such a light smoked film, I was still shocked to see a noticeable difference in how much it cut down on the stock light output.
There are threads on how to bake your headlights and pull them apart to paint the non reflective areas black and get the darker look without sacrificing your night vision. My suggestion would be to check out the process and see if you are comfortable doing it that before buying new lights.

Sorry the only link I found is for another forum.... I know it existing on this forum though, so maybe someone else with more time can locate a better one.

If you don't feel comfy baking your lights, grab a set of FX/Harley ones. They're already painted or de-chromed
