Default Timing chain & tuner

Picked up an SCT X4 from stage 3 with 5* tunes and wondered if it would make my ecoboost more prone to the timing chain stretch I hear people having. Truck is stock 2011 with 34k miles and new sp534 spark plugs. Never had shutter problem or any other ecoboost problems I hear about on here. Wondering if I should just be happy with a good engine and stay away from putting the tune on. Any advice would be great

I have never heard of most of these tunes causing extra wear on the timing chain. Most of the ecoboost timing chain problems I've seen are non tuned trucks.

dude tune it. you'll LOVE the truck.

one of my 5.0s is tuned, the other isn't. I constantly wish that the one I drive the most (not tuned) was tuned. the transmission mapping alone (for the 5.0) is so worth it.

the ecoboost makes full on nasty gross stanky ***** power, tune it!!! I haven't been in a tuned ecoboost, but I've been in a stock one, and that was a dirty girl!!!!!

The timing chain stretch has nothing to do with a tune.

I know it has nothing to with the tune but if it's already known to be problematic would a tune increase the chances of it getting stretched do to different timing
