How are those in icy condition?
My Appearance package ones are slippery as a banana on a lubed floor when icy. I was looking at the RB-20s as a replacement.

I just put them on a few weeks ago, so I don't know how they are with ice on them. The texture is pretty aggressive, so I feel like they'll do well. They offer an option to get them coated in bed liner too. It adds quite a bit to the price though.

Another vote for Amp. Absolute must on a lifted truck, even my 82 y/o mom can get in my truck easily. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Every penny!!!

If the budget allowed power boards I'd go that route.. the truck sits 90% of the time since I got a commuter car so it's really hard to justify that cost. Thank you for the suggestions though!

I think the Magnum RT steps look pretty nice.

If you're in Michigan, there's a set of power steps in the marketplace.

I have AMP on my 2012 FX4, I damaged the factory ones by parking too close to a small tree stump then forgetting it was there and hitting it when I pulled out.
As far as wiring, the AMP were easy. Just ran the power harness to the battery, used a pass through connector for the OBDII to simplify the wiring.

I ended up placing an order for Westin Thrashers. They look very similar to the Go Rhino's but use different mounting points.

When I removed my old tube I noticed it ripped away some of the metal around the back rocker hole used to mount it. The Go Rhinos happen to use the same mounting hole and I didn't want to run into any issues there. I was looking at a few other options that were drop step, but I figure with the wife and kid (s) a full board may be a bit easier.

I'll update it when I get them in and installed! I do like the look of the truck without anything on it though..if only I were taller!
