Need Help....
I am posting a poll and need everyones help. I recently brought my truck in for service and one of the issues is with the tranny slipping, the engineers say this is a design characteristic.
Here is the problem and I can reproduce this every morning and now every day even after driving if the truck has been parked for a bit:
The issue is if I get in the truck, put seatbelt on then start the truck and put into reverse within 5 secs the truck will not move and the tranny will slip and engine revs. I need help here in proving this is an issue as I have never experienced this until recently. I have even gone as far as visiting one dealer today and none of the trucks exhibit this sympton, even the loaner they gave me didn't have this either.
I am asking people to please help me and test this on their trucks first thing in the morning and posting in this poll, even a post to aid will be of big help. You may also want to try this on several mornings as well just to be sure.
Thanks.

Just going by your post I would recommend simply switching two tasks. Get in your truck, START your truck and then put on your seat belt. That should solve everything. Good luck!

That sounds serious. Mine has no such issue.

I really appreciate those who have posted to the poll. If possible can more people help me on this?
Lastly, any Ford Tech's on here that can shed some light on this issue? I am desperate but feel better that the service department has confirmed my issues but I don't want to be taken for a ride by Ford....
