Tight fit?
It is a boring day, so I thought I'd post some pictures for your amusement. This is where my truck sleeps every night. I've got about 1.5" of clearance total. I'd knock down that back wall, but part of it is a panic room made out of 1/4" thick steel that's bolted to the slab every 3 inches (it's the thing with the coolers sitting on it). I am going to build my next house and I'll have a 30' long garage put in that thing (maybe longer, who knows)! I had to remove a support off of the garage door that was hogging up an extra 2 inches, otherwise there was no way it was going to fit.
It takes me about 3 times in and out of the truck to make sure everything is lined up. I've got 2 tennis ***** to help me. The back up camera is not of much use since I have to almost be touching my bumper. I was thinking about making some sort of "bumper" to go in the receiver hitch so that the "bumper hitch" bumps into the panic room instead of my real bumper. I haven't hit my bumper yet, but I've only been parking in there for 4 months . The Ram was a couple inches shorter than the F150, but I didn't care for the ride half as much as the F150. Best riding and driving vehicle I've ever been in.

That sir is a tight fit.
I am in the same boat but decided to keep it outside for now. Im worried would actually cause more damage than prevent squeezing into the garage.

Believe me, I'd park outside if I didn't live in Oklahoma. I have a fear of hail! I've actually left work a couple times and parked in the garage when bad t-storms were rolling through. I'm sure the wife appreciated having to shuttle me back over to work haha.

my garage is fine for the lenght of my truck, the thing that has me worried is that i wont fit when i am able to get new tires. my truck is barley fittin height wise as it sits.

Wow... this is timely. I'm in the exact same boat. I tried to measure and it looks to be within an inch or two - hard to tell exactly.
I have one of those two car garages with the center support as well - so lame. That means folding in the mirrors every time as well - ugh.
I'd leave it outside but I have oak trees that like to drop nastiness on my paint. :/
Has anyone retrofitted power folding mirrors on their 'non Platinum'?
