Ticking After Oil/Filter Change.

Oil/filter change produced nothing and it still goes away when warm. I’m at a loss.

A little piston slap during thermal expansion maybe. Did you say it was a 2012? May have the cylinder oblong/warping issue.

Yes it’s a 2012. Wouldn’t piston slap occur after warm up? When warm the tick goes away. I dropped the warm oil out and added new oil which was cold and it started ticking.
