Throttle Body upgrade for 2010 5.4, worth the $$$?
so i was searching for any other add ons i could do to my 2010 5.4 before i dyno tune it to optimize it all, i came across this BBK throttle body and was wondering if it would even render any performance? or it is really just a waste of money? my current performance mods are: S&B CAI, Pacesetter long tube headers, flowmaster super 40 exhaust. i am fixing to SCT dyno tune my truck, and was really wondering if this thing would help at all, thanks, Ramon

in my experience, unless your intake manifold and heads are also bigger, a TB isn't worth it.
It'll fake you into thinking you have more power because of the increased air flow at part throttle but I doubt the TB is the limiting factor at WOT on our trucks.
In short, it'll just eat MPG.

To OP, little off topic but how do you like your headers? And if you don't min me asking what did they set you back? Thanks

Seems pricy for what you get. If you do plan to install one however you better do it before your dyno tune or it may slightly effect your A/F ratio. Also I note that you have a TBS on your truck already I think that would negate any gain due to the smaller opening size....
