Default Thoughts on Purchasimg 2014 demo?

Hey guys,
What are your thoughts?

There's a 2014 Lariat at the dealer. the truck was used as a demo by the sales manager and currently has 5000mi . MSRP IS $53,000, they offered me $46,100 out the door with current 0% APR for 60 months incentive. truck has nearly every option chrome package, V6 ecoboost, supercrew, tow pckg, sunroof, sliding rear window, remote start,etc..

Currently in college but graduating in May, ideally I'd like to wait a year but this may be the deal I'd be looking for...

Thoughts on this purchase...
Thanks

I got over $10K off a brand new truck, not a demo. Even OTD that prices seems high for a Demo.

My truck was 44 sticker, OTD was 33, not a demo. At 38-40 I would talk to them. Otherwise look at a '15 in a year, stick to the plan!

That's almost exactly what I paid for my fully loaded '14 Lariat two months ago. My sticker was $53500 and I think my OTD was only $200 more than yours. My truck only had 90 miles on it and that is because the dealer they traded with to get it was 75 miles away. Plus the demos get beat to ****. Everyone rags on them including the dealership. They would have to offer me a lot better deal than that.

That is NO deal.......you could get that price ( or better ) anywhere if the truck had ZERO miles on it, let alone 5000! They are trying to bend you over BIG time. I have bought five new F150's since 2004 so I know what a deal is, and that price is definitely not one.

Demo is just a nice way to say rental. Look for out the door around 40-42k. Just my opinion. Specially with the 15's arriving they will be giving away the 14's soon enough.

Exactly what he said.........38 to 40.........NO higher. Maybe 40 OTD...or just walk away.

20% off would be the starting point in dropping the price
I bought an "executive" car years ago for over 25% off, included full warranty

I bought my truck brand new for 24% off MSRP w/rebates & discounts

Ok, you asked...

Still in college and buying a $50k truck?

No wonder people get vehicles repossessed.
