Default thoughts on lifting a 2WD

What are your guys' thoughts on lifting a 2WD? And what is the biggest to go? I am thinking a 4" Rancho Lift on my 2WD lariat. Good idea? Thanks in advance.

I just love sitting high in any vehicle so I don't see a problem with it, but I'm sure the 4x4 guys will make fun of you and call you a poser

do it. if you have the money and thats how you want your truck to look than i say go for it. there is nothing wrong with lifting a 2x4 truck. dont let some douchebag tell you that it is pointless unless your truck is 4x4. that is a joke. most people who have 4x4's do it because they like the look. even if they say it increases the trucks offroading capabilities. haha.

very sweet truck, that may be a bit big for me but love it! I wouldn't be able to get my kids in their car seats!

Most lifted trucks are street queens anyways that would never use their 4x4. Do it if you want to.
