Thoughts on this deal for a 2014 FX4

For reference, my (sig) 2014 FX4 had MSRP of $49,540 (noting somewhat lower cost for S-Cab) which had all options I wanted with nav and sunroof intentionally excluded). Factory ordered and built the last week of Dearborn steel body production before tooling dismantled for new aluminum trucks. Agreed price was $41,377 after discounts ($500 below "invoice" plus FoMoCo rebates) before tax, doc and registration fees.
Obviously, costs have gone up in 4 model years since then. My own config is unique and has rolled only 7300 miles since new. I respect those that like the 3.5 EB, however I consider mine a More Practical Raptor. Good luck and enjoy whatever truck you ultimately choose!

I bought a very similar 2014 FX4 just under a year ago in December. Only difference is mine also has the Sony system, the FX4 appearance package, and 3.55 gearing. Mine had 32k miles, was in mint condition, and I paid $34k for it. That was the list price and this was one of those "no negotiate" dealerships. I even think the price I paid was a tad high, but the truck was extremely clean it looked like it had never been driven. I found out it had been a leased truck.
I had test driven a couple other similar FX4's with the same mileage with lower prices by a grand or more, but on both the interior wasn't quite as clean.
So I think you can do much better than $36k.

So, I got shafted by this dealer. I had made an appointment with them to come test drive/buy if I liked this truck on Saturday at 11 AM. When I got there, I was told that some salesman sold the truck earlier in the morning.
Im back to the hunt. Thanks a bunch to all of the folks that weighed in.

OP, do you need a dealer for financing or are you taking care of that yourself? I have a 2014 FX4 3.5 EB super crew, black on black, BAKFlip fibermax bed cover, Bed Rug, 2 UnderCover Swing Case's, Cooper AT3's with 13k on them, 43K miles or a little less on truck. Same truck minus 20" wheels. One and only owner, dealer serviced. I have the extended warranty as well as service plan (Id assume they transfer?). Located in SWVA. Let me know if interested and Ill dig out the window sticker and get you the exact details. I wasn't looking to sell, but daughter is turning 1 on Saturday and I need to downgrade to put away more money.
ETA: I see I have the info in my sig lol. Havent been on here in a long time.
ETA2: Mine has the 3.55 and also the tailgate step

Great truck, but that price is a bit high to me. But, the allure of the siren is powerful and it's your money. $32-$34k seems more palatable. Are you getting new tires as a part of the deal? Some dships slap on a new set as a part of the deal. Even with new tires, I'd hold at the above mentioned price range. Ford made a lot of these trucks over the years, more fish in the sea.

As a reference, just traded my loaded ($50,675 MSRP, bought new for $39500), immaculate 2013 FX4 for $27k, and the dealer wouldn't budge a bit. Even tried to walk out on them. Carmax appraisal was $26k which was way off KBB or NADA. Only one close was Edmunds.
Had it appraised in May of '16 at Carmax at about 35.5K miles (still under comp warranty), and it was $31k then.

I have a pearl white 2013 platinum with 22k miles in Northern VA that I would let go for $36K. The truck is in immaculate condition. Fully loaded, max tow package w/ 3.73, bed liner, tonneau cover, bed mat, all weather floor mats.
Shoot me a PM if you are interested.
