Depends on which Harley, I think the guys with the supercharged ones are usually younger. Platinum/Lariat are older mens trucks because they're the only ones who can afford to buy one new lol

I think the overall point is maybe being missed here. The older you are HOPEFULLY the further along in your career you are which means you can afford a more expensive truck. Not saying "nicer" the XLT and others are very nice trucks. Having a more stable source of income that is hopefully elevated from where it was when we were 20 something allows the purchase of more expensive toys.
To each their own. I could have afforded an XL or a Platinum, I just personally preferred the options available on the XLT. What I would have REALLY preferred is an FX4 with chrome bumpers, cooled seats and the garage door opener. Since that was only available in a Lariat here I am.
Everyone should be proud enough of their truck they shouldn't feel it necessary to judge or find fault in other peoples choices to make themselves feel better. Just my $.02.

Anyone that drove a Lariat 8 years ago is REALLY old by now. They've probably even traded in their Lariat for a Lexus.
On another topic, people just can't win. If you start a new thread, inevitable someone will say "use the search function, this has been covered before!". But here's a newbie that clearly did use a search function to dig up something so old, and he get's comments on opening back up an old thread!
