Default For those who have or had a Rough Country "Suspension" Lift

I presently have a 2.5 autspring spacer on my 2014 f150 4x4. I like the stance, but would like a little more. That said, I cut my wheel all the way at a drive through the other day and it made a horrendous sound. Long story short, I can't live with that possibility. I'm not sold on a coil over either. I can't see how it changes angles.

So, I am going to get a 4" lift. My truck is a road queen. Judge all you want, but I don't go off road and have no plans to. The Rough Country 4" lift is only $899. That's only a few more dollars than a coilover. That sounds like a great deal. I have gone through a bunch of different threads, but I'd like to see opinions all in one place please.

If you (not your uncle's second cousin's friend) have or had a Rough Country suspension lift could you please give your opinion here. Thanks in advance for the responses.

Where did you find the kit for that much? My guess is that you're looking at the price of the kit NOT including the shock option your interested in.

I've had a 4" RCX on my truck for about a year now. I take it through deep mud and ruts fairly often and have never had any issues.

ETA--- I replaced the front struts w/ Rancho 9000s

Oops, I screwed up. The 4wd is $999.95 right on their site. Rear shocks are included.

I had the 6" on my 2010. My only issue was the rear rough country shocks, they were a bit stiff. Other than that, it was a great lift.

No issues with my rcx 6". I never ran the stock rear shocks that came with it. Now running coilover upfront and a different rear setup.

What coilovers are you running upfront? Did they eliminate the front strut spacer?

I'm running the fox 2.0s with the rcx spacer. Fox does have a 6" lift coilover if you do want to eliminate the spacer.
