Default For those who don't have a built in inverter

My 11 XLT did not come with a inverter to plug in household stuff like battery chargers, I am a contractor and I hated having my store bought inverter in the way so I opened it up, mounted it under the passenger seat and ran the outlets into the dash with the on off switch

Nice job, looks really clean!!

I just worry about those things burning up. Had one fry almost catch on fire. Used others and only one it happened to but worries me still.

That looks sweet! Any chance of doing a detailed write-up or pictures on how you did it?

I 2nd what fseries said. A write up and pics would be awesome! Brilliant mod! What brand and model inverter did you use? Any concerns of over- heating under the seat. May give the Mrs. a new meaning to "hot pants".

Very sexy finished product. Like everyone else, I would love to see a complete write up on how you did it. I keep an inverter in the truck, but would love to run it behind the dash for easier use.
