Default For those that use Torque app here is one better for iPhone

Hey guys,

Here is a similar app to the torque app for android but for iOS. Normally $49.99 on sale for $10. I hear a lot of good things about using torque app and wanted to try it out. I just need to find out what type of OBD2 plug I need to buy.

Just don't get the cheap ELM dongle off EBay. I can never seem to get DashCommand to link up with my Elm without a whole lot of cursing. They recommend some OBD plugs on their site. Had both now for two years and never really bothered with it.

I was thinking of trying this one. Did the Bluetooth obd2 connect with your iPhone? I heard mixed reviews.

From what i know about them, the Bluetooth ones don't work unless you jailbreak your iPhone.
Have to get a wifi one and they vary in price quite a bit. I think there are ones that connect with a cord to the iPhone as well.

Ugh... I'll search for a wifi one. It would be better if I could find a wired one for best results I would assume.

As the owner of both, I disagree.

Dash Command is free for Android if people want try it. I have tried it, but prefer Torque because of the extra widgets it has and I used to it. Dash Command is not a bad choice if you can't get Torque.

I have one of these also that I have loaned out to a buddy right now. It's not too bad I just really wish it had performance tests built in.
