Default Those of u with 10 ply tires

I have 275/70/18 BFG all terrains and they have an E load range (80 psi max). For those of u with E rated tires, what psi are u running them at for normal driving?

Not to hijack but are you guys with E rated tires seeing much of a drop in MPG? Have heard as much as 2 going with a 275 70 18. Thanks in advance.

I've been running them at 35psi for the past 6,000 miles. I just recently started to run them at 50 and they feel a lot better!

As for mpg, I suggest u find a different tire that isn't E rated. I lost about 3 mpg (maybe more) with mine. I love these tires but if I knew this originally, I would have opted for a lighter tire.

305/65/18 Rocky Mountain ATS 40 psi rides ok. May bump it up a little. 1-2 in mpg loss as expected. Due mostly to weight of tires. My mph is dead on though so must have been wrong from factory. Had the wrangler sra factory. 2011 screw 4x4 5.0 3.55 gears.
