***Update***

I put on a 4" diamond eye cat back exhaust. I went on a short road trip this weekend and i was getting 22.4 mpg going 50-55 mph (which is just as good as when i had my 265/60r18 michelins on). I think it takes tunes, intake, and a nicely flowing exhaust to see change in mpg. I had tunes and a CAI before exhaust and not much changed but after that 4" pipe my mpg at higher speeds definitely jumped. The exhaust was only $349 from Stage3 and it's been perfect so far.

It all depends on the brand. For example my BFG KO2s are really 32.4 or so inches tall but I know someone with Hankooks that are 275/70r18 exactly 33" tall.

275/70/R18 on stock rims with 2" level. Tired are Michelin MS2's off my brothers powerstroke. Got about 60,000 on them. Ready for bigger tires.
