There's been several people (including myself) on here unable to find a console to replace the jump seat. They are very rare on ebay right now, only ones I've seen were over $400 plus shipping. The dealership wants over $1000 to order all the pieces needed.

This site is an index of various auto wrecker company's inventories. I found several available within western Canada and have one in the mail right now.

Too bad not close. I'd rather have a jump seat then my console in my 12 xlt. lol

Really? I understand the practicality of the extra seat, but have you driven one with the fold down seat? I feel boxed in, the thing is so big and comes up too high imo.

Yep, I drove both when testing driving. Preferred the jump seat but mine had every other option I wanted minus console so I took it. Dont get me wrong, I dont hate the console, it's handy and comfortable to rest on, I just preferred the jump seat as an arm rest.

Just the opposite here, I couldn't fine one with a console..All jump seats. I don't like it, but I'm not going to spend the money replacing it.

X2. I almost never have anyone ride with me, let alone in the jumpseat and I'd like more storage. But it's not worth spending the money to replace it unless it's a straight trade which is not very possible now since I put leather in.

I bought my truck used and it came with the jumpseat and I must be one of a small group that actually prefers the jump seat over the console. I like the hidden storage under the seat itself,most people I have had ride in the truck don't know it is there.

I love having my Console, infact I passed up on over bunch of trucks till I found one with a Console and the Options I wanted....Im Usually by My self, so the extra room is not a concern.

My truck will look similar to that when my seats (all black w/ white stitching) and console arrive.

I'm going to dye the plastic parts on the side of the seats. Grey plastic and black leather don't match too well.
