Can't say about the 4x2 Tremor but I love my 4x4. Didn't even know the Tremor existed (hadn't followed trucks or cars for several years) until I chanced across one on the internet and absolutely had to have it. I love the truck, it's the best, most fun vehicle I have ever owned. You won't regret it.

Easy get the 5.0 mustang. Yes every mom and h.s. kid has a mustang with a 6 cylinder, but then again everybody has an f150 as well.

Agree on the Mustang. I have a `13 GT `vert & its my "Sunny Day/Not a chance of dust day" car, & although I don`t drive it much, it puts a smile on my face every time I do. 420HP will do that to you!

I'm wanting a FX2 because I would like to lower it for handling and it will never see winter so 4x4 is unneeded. I also want the Tremor Plus Package.

I haven't owned an Ecoboost so is there anything in particular I should look for or be aware of? It will still have factory warranty so I should be able to repair any problems. I'm a little uneasy about buying an EB but I'm hoping a 2014 has most of the issues ironed out.

Thanks in advance!
In 2014 I bought one. Get the FX4 if possible . The ecoboost just fries the rear tires in a cloud of smoke on dry pavement and won't pull out fast. Guess you could put drag radials on. I use 4x4 HI to boost launch. It's very quick for pickup. I have tuned it, cat less down pipes, true dual custom 3" MagnaFlow with X pipe .
AFe dual filter intake.

I'd go mustang too, the new ones are my favorite body style by far. No offense to tremor owners, but most non truck enthusists probably have no idea what they are. They just look like a regular f150.

Besides the fact that Ford gave them a special name, they are just regular F150s.

Imagine if it had the 2016 5.0 with a 10 speed tranny. Wouldn't be ordinary then

I'd rather have the 2017 Raptor engine, 450 hp Ecoboost with a 10 speed.
But I guess I'll have buy a 2017 Raptor to get that.

I doubt Ford intended on the Tremor being a high volume seller. A one year limited production regular cab ecoturd truck with a set of 4.10 gears and FX4 package which at the time would be an impossible combination to get from the factory.

I guess somebody building a project truck could start off with an XL or XLT and put FX4 interior and transplant an ecoturd. I though mine was a little expensive at 42,000.00. I did get the plus pkg.
