Default Things to watch for in the winter with ice?

Well, I have a good layer of ice covering almost everything under the tuck to include the suspension parts in the wheel well. The truck drives well but I hear a clunking noise when I go over small bumps. I can't do much to get the ice off but is there anything I need or can do in the mean time? The low tonight is supposed to be around 0 and the highs won't be above freezing for at least a couple days.

Ice. That's what I'd watch for. And stay inside. No use in going out when it's that cold. It's 63 here and to cold to go outside with no jacket.

Probably not worth saying, but being the three time winter driving gold medalist runner-up, ice on your truck won't hurt anything. Watch the tires of the vehicles in front of you, if you don't see spray coming off of them, slow down, the road has ice on it.

Watch that you don't hit the brakes too hard unless absolutely necessary. Even though your truck may have the capability of stopping quickly with snow tires or whatnot the dummy following behind you in his car with summer tires and texting on his phone may not be able to stop so fast

When slowing down, do so predictably when possible and keep an eye on your rear view.

These tips really will help you avoid being "rear ended"

Haha try -40C. I imagine these trucks will be fine in 0F, they're not Dodges after all.

Thanks fellas. I try and give myself a ridiculous amount of space between me and the vehicle in front of me. I probably **** a lot of drivers behind me off but oh well. I guess my main concern was that there is a layer of ice/dirt covering everything and just noticed that clunking noise when I go over bumps. It doesn't seem to affect any functions but is just unnerving because my truck has been great so far.
