For the Most Part I Love My 2012 XLT- XTR Luxury PKG

1- wish it had a drivers side grab handle ( 3" Level 34"/20's & my 5-7" legs I pull on the steering wheel..)

2- the rear snap pop click is getting louder when I back up and it only has 5,500KM's

3 - 3rd break light leaks

4 - wish it had heads up display - my Supercharged Grand prix GTP has it
and enjoy using it.

5 - wish the chrome side steps were pushed out about 3" -5"
so you can get more then your Toe on the step when its wet.

I have Buckets and Floor Console, the Console is huge so it makes up for the small glove box, too big I can never find anything in it. Its is almost as Large as the one I had in MY K5 Blazer

Other then that I love My Beast......

I bought my 2013 Platty last month. The only thing I dont like about it is the roof is super flimsy. I was standing in the bed washing it and I could not believe how thin and flimsy the sheet metal is. Disappointing. Nice for a lower center of gravity. But seriously. It has a sunroof.

It isn't just the roof that's flimsy, the whole truck is super thin sheet metal if it is even metal,,watch your doors when you shut them..Thank goodness there a frame underneath because if there wasn't I surely wouldn't be owning this truck..Be careful on the roof, if you put any kind of pressure it will ding and wont come out..

Zero complaints with my Platinum, on my second. Glock goes in the center console.

3. There's a nifty little dial gauge in the dash called a speedometer. It tells you how fast you are going and you don't have to turn your head down and right to see it.

The navigation displays the posted speed limit.

1. That's where I keep my back up. Can't be too care full!

2. This complaint is from my wife. LOL

3. GPS should be more accurate than the speedo.

Indeed. A bunch of whiners!

Fwiw, the "flimsy" sheet metal is just sheet metal. It's lighter to keep the weight down. The structure underneath is the strongest out of any truck, and therefore makes our trucks the safest trucks on the market. Just go take a gander at the monstrous b-pillars that are made of boron steel. GM got a "poor" side impact rating last year. No chance in hell I'm buying a truck that flimsy. I believe the ram was deemed the most unsafe vehicle in the US a couple of years ago as well.
