I am right there with you, Snowguy. My truck has finally arrived in Texas. Last check, it was about 150 miles away. After missing the original ETA of 3/19, I'm pretty much driving myself crazy with the waiting. Haha

Like you, I'm hopeful there are better rebates because my multiple attempts at the $750 coupon have failed.

Did you go to Ford.com and request an F-150 brochure by mail? That's how I got mine.

Click on the following link, then click on the button for by mail.

http://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/brochures/

But hurry so you'll received the brochure before you take delivery of your truck.

Yeah, gonna be different going from 11 year old truck to back to taking care of new one worrying about every little scratch.

Also forgot few things, ordered overlays for front and back emblems. Picked up metal screen at Home Depot to fill the intercooler hole. Just need to paint and clear it.

Most screenwire will restrict too much airflow. The intercooler and other coolers (heat exchangers) in the front of the truck need lots of air passing through to efficiently suck the heat out of the coolers. So be sure you understand what you're doing before you restrict the airflow to the coolers.

Yes, I've now received two by mail and still nothing. Each time, it also took 2-3 weeks before the brochure arrived.

Maybe bad choice of words on my part. The part is actually made to be rain guard for gutters, to block leaves and debris.
Looks like it has the same pattern as the Lariats with chrome package. I know someone else tried it but I can't find that thread. Was hoping to get some feedback from them.
I'll post picks when I get painted to get everyone's opinion, but yea not gonna use it if it looks like it will block to much airflow.

edit- Ok, after more searching I guess it's called expanded steel.
lot's good ideas and pics of homemade ones in this thread- https://www.f150forum.com/f70/protec...84361/index12/

Here's some different patterns- http://www.mcnichols.com/products/expanded/

Just wanted something that matches the lariat chrome package grille better.

Love my truck!!!!! wow this thing is nice, definitely nicer than anything I've had before. You can spend half a day just setting up the seats to perfect setting. lol

Here's that grill I was talkin about that I picked up. I think it's too restrictive, gonna look for something with more open pattern.
