I have had this constant dash squeek for a few weeks that all but drove me crazy! (crazy that I could not find the source) Sounded like mice squeeking or more like 2 egg cartons rubbing together, anyway I Searched and found it to be the heavier duty type black Styrofoam Hood hinge pieces that are around the hinge mount under the wiper panel cowl. Sprayed them with some spray silicone and the squeek is GONE! It really sounded like it was almost under the center dash top piece by the psgr airbag inside the truck. Those Black Styrofoam pieces dry out I geuss and generate this screeching almost metallic loose clip / metal on metal sound.

Well, the 2 posts I referenced were from 2+ years ago,(didn't want to dredge them up since there are kinda legnthy reads with 10 posts prior to the solution) Just putting it out there. It works and Actually I am beyond happy!
