Really?

That is how you build/maintain credit regardless of your salary. Plus, there are incentives for doing so. And finally, just because someone makes a good salary doesn't mean they have nor want to drop $50k+ cash on a vehicle.

If I can finance at 2.5% and make over 15% return on the $ I have in the bank. Why would I want to use my $ that is giving me a better return?

That is the only reason I took a loan on my truck, interest is so cheap on these things why tie up $40k into a losing asset when you can be making money off the $40k instead.

Is this a thread about Texas dealerships or about how much money everyone has? If it shouldn't matter to the sales people then why does it matter here?

Returning to the original topic - Henson Ford in Madisonville was top class with me both on price and service. Go see them and ask for Leon or Jeremy L.
