65,000 miles on my 2012 King Ranch Ecoboost. I'm averaging 15.4 mpg's and believe mine is a little low also. Was hoping to see around 17-18 mpg's but don't think it will happen. Going to try Chevron w/Techron fuel treatment the Ford tech on YouTube {MakuLoco?} suggested and see if that helps. Will report back my findings.

Probably a waste of money to change plugs before 100k. Changed mine at 155k and they looked fine. Mpg actually went down a little after I did. Jmo

It's an Ecoboost thing, you wouldn't understand.

Someone mentioned about warped rotors causing drag. Well, remember I was getting 17-18 hwy for the last few years and it dropped to 15 over the last number of months. I needed new brakes so I replaced both the brakes and rotors. Driving around town today after install, mostly hwy, I was getting 20-21.

Not sure if this is an anomaly but I will confirm this week when I drive consistently back and forth from work. I should get at least 17-18 as my drive hasn't changed over the last 3 years and that is what I was getting.

I did have noticeable shutter from the warped rotors. 50K miles.

My best mileage is at 50-55 mph which is the limit on some of the crappy 2 lanes we have down here. No hills or mountains in Louisiana either!
every one with 331 gears seems to get horrible mileage

I had been averaging 16-17 in town, 18+ if I was throttle-gentle. Then it started coming down, which I contributed to winter blend fuel. Maybe little over a month ago I got a P0012B code, which revisited intermittently couple more times. First CEL was out of the blue, which I just cleared the code. Before the 2nd CEL there was some occasional turbo lag, which was quite noticeable but the light went away on its own within a few key/drive cycles. Maybe a week after that the third CEL which had the same noticeable lag a few trips prior to the light. Again went off on its own after a few key/drive cycles. Bout the time the first code surfaced the mileage dropped to high 12's although my driving style has stayed consistent. Researching the code Ford has a tsb regarding the 12B and 12D codes but I simply pulled and cleaned the three sensors to see what that would do, especially since I'm running a drop-in K&N. Though I have yet to clean and reoil one, I picked up a 2nd filter which was put in back in July. Yet to have a fourth CEL but still seeing 12's. Just a smidge over 80k and planning to swap out plugs and boots, fingers crossed that might be part of the equation. Got the truck with 69k and don't know its maintenance history.
