Default SiriusXM and Sirius; two different companies

WHAT A CROK,,

I bought 2012 F150, and a 2012 Maxima. Both had the free 6 mos
Satellite radio. I got two "yellow" mailers with two offers.
One for F150 was 144.90@one year. One for Maxima was $25 @
6 mos. I called and went thru an hour only to find that the disparity
In price was because there are two companies of the same radio service.
Of course I demanded a better offer or I would cancel. Here is what I got.

$94.43 for one year on F150

$94.43 for one year on Maxima

Be careful with those people, my prices were 10-11-12. What's yours?

I get Sirius in my F150 and my previous cars, I've only paid $25 per 6 months every time I renew. Haggle better. It started when they kept send lower offers until these $25 ones, then I just refuse to go up in price when I renew.

My brother in law pays $36/yr for Sirius. Just tell them to pound sand until they give you what you want. Otherwise cancel.

They are owned by the same company, however they maintain mostly separate channel line-ups. Pretty lame, I know.

I just let my free trial run out. I live in a somewhat rural area so I can kind of pick up 2 FM stations but they don't play anything that I like. I have pandora on my phone but even with verizon coverage is spotty and I don't have much music saved to my phone. Not only that but I hate having to re-select USB or bluetooth everytime I start the truck so I may see if I can get the 6mos for $25.

I had to drive a car without Sirius yesterday and had completely forgotten about all the political ads on commercial radio.

Made my decision to stay with Sirius even easier.
