Terra Grappler vs BFG Rugged Terrain

I had these on my Ex and although they were nothing to run home to mom about, they were great tires...then again don't take my word for it, I can honestly say I never really tested them out, if you know what I mean

Great tires.

I have had two sets of terra grapplers and had both trucks with them in snow. I think they did just fine. As soon as I get some extra cash they will be on the new fx4 I don't know anyone w them who has been bummed about having them. I have read that on 3/4 ton diesels or bigger they wear faster because of the extra weight

I think you would be better off going with a snow rated tire. Maybe look into the general grabber at2 or goodyear duratrac

You can also have the tires siped at the installer to help with rain, snow, ice traction.

The decision seems to be getting more difficult the more I read/research/think. . .maybe I should just skip all that next time!

I have never really heard someone who has not liked the Terra Grapplers honestly. I'm a little worried about quicker wear with towing, because I will be dragging our 8,000 lb wet & loaded 5'ver around pretty often. . . . But all tire do wear quicker under a load, especially something with a slightly softer compound that makes it perform well in winter. . .

If noise is an issue why not look into the general grabbers? Reviews say they are dead silent and they look aggressive in person. Winter rated as well, rugged terrains and nittos are not.

They are winter rated, but I haven't heard any good reviews (personally) about them in the winter- some guys around here tried them out and bailed on them in short order. Coupled with the fact they have a massively overbuilt carcass- it makes them pretty much bomb proof, but at a cost.

BF Goodrich P275/60-R20
Alright, so I ended up purchasing a set of these BF Goodrich Rugged Terrains...so far I am happy but I'm hoping somebody will have a little input for me here:
I have a Platinum F150 with 20" wheels that came with Pirelli Scorpions 275/55-20. They were crappy tires IMO, so I wanted something a little beefier. Moving from 55 to 60 only added about an inch to the diameter of the tire as far as I can tell. Needless to say, my speedometer, odometer, and dashboard MPG calculations are all off now. So...assuming I keep these tires, I know that I will be having the computer reprogrammed. Speedo is off by about 3 mph, therefore I know the odometer will be off as well as my MPG calculations that the computer does for me. So here's the thing:
Can anyone tell me for certain what this is doing for my MPG? The dashboard MPG calculations are definitely off, but not much from what they were previously (I think, it seems really inconsistent now). I just want to know if these tires are actually killing my MPG, or if I'm being paranoid, or if the MPG gauge is going haywire, etc lol...I just don't know. somebody help me here! Can anyone speak from experience?
