Had a basketball tourney the other day, threw all the teams bags in the back, shut the tailgate and closed the bakflip f1, lock the tailgate, go back to open it and it won't unlock! The key will turn but it feels like it doesn't want to it only turns about half as far as it needs to and it feels like something's jammed in there or something. After about 10 minutes of fiddling we got in and got our stuff but it's still doing it.. Does anyone know a fix or had this happen?? I've had the truck for months I know how to work it this isn't me being and idiot.. Thanks for the help.

Firmly push on the tailgate as you turn the key. The latches may not have fully ingaged when you closed it. Sometimes that will keep the key from turning.

There was another thread a week or so ago with the same problem. Basically take the small panel off he inside of the tailgate and see what you can see. I can't remember what it was exactly, but something has come loose.
