Default Tailgate Time

A couple months ago I tore down the misses Harley for some mods and its been in the garage sitting on a jack ever since. Shes been on my butt to get it done so the past four days I put in about 50 hours finishing it up.

Now its the F150s turn.

I have a emblem backup camera, solenoid for the lock and a Deezee kit to install.

I would like to figure out a way to mount a solenoid on the ARE bed cover as well.

I hope my Nav gear is in by the weekend so I can dive into that project.

Installed the DeeZee kit today. Thanks to the forum I didn't use the nutsert.

I did use 1/4x1 fender washers on both sides of the tailgate and a nylock nut. Its never coming out.

For those doing a search the ball and post that mounts in the tailgate has M6x1.00 threads.

Hey, what is the solenoid for the lock mod?
Haven't heard of that one yet.
Thanks
