That's where you drop the tail gate down and floor that gas pedal.

Or you could just take out the plugs in the front of the bed

Dust? That makes sense now. You probably can tell by the question that I'm a "city slicker" and drive exclusively on pavement. Dust problem won't be an issue for me, so thanks for the posts. My decision is easy.

you got a super truck! lol i've never seen a single one that drives gravel with the tarp closed that does not have a ton of dust in it. must have nice gravel there runnin 60-70 down the gravel here the dust hangs behind you for a mile. Its not so much a seal thing as a bed cover thing.

We are a little off topic here, but I sail my Hunter Legend 37.5 (monohull) out of Kemah. More often I'm "sailing" my F-150 along the Bolivar beaches.

I was going to guess Surfside, gotta love the drive on Texas beaches (and vacationers that haven't figured out low vs high tide!)

I have a tailgate seal, I also put a seal around any gaps between the cover and top of bed. I also caulked the gaps on the bottom of the bed that are everywhere, I did leave a few small holes in front to drain water when i wash it. I drive on a lot of gravel and it won't keep dust out, but it will reduce it quite a bit if you do all that. But if I don't have anything in the back, on gravel roads, I just leave it open to blow it out.

It's been on for 5 years and it still looks and works great.
Which product did you use?

My F150, is the 1st truck Ive owned and not put a tailgate seal on. My 3 other chevies, I did.... Like others have mentioned, only thing I see gettin in is Dust, no water....

Ive noticed, you can get the seals on Amazon for 20.00. I may get one, and see if I notice much difference...
