Tailgate Seal
Show me your seals (on your truck's tailgate that is...).
Anyone regret doing this? I have a Bakflip. Things are pretty dry, even after all this rain we've had recently. But I do get some moisture around the tailgate area. I'm waiting on my bed rug and wonder if I should have them do the tailgate seal too.

I have the bakflip also and so far I love it. I also have the bed Line-x'd . I have noticed I am getting dirt in the bed and I know it is coming in between the bed and tailgate. I live off a dusty dirt road so it is to be expected I suppose. I am going to try regular door seal like you would use on your house front door, it comes in a roll with sticky on one side. I figure if it doesn't work, I am out less than some of the other ones.

A tailgate bulb seal should solve any objectionable dust/moisture leakage. With peal 'n stick adhesive these are easy to install. Mine looks like this one for $25http://www.4wheelparts.com/Tonneau-Covers-Truck-Bed-Covers/TrailSeal-Kit-Tailgate-Seal.aspx?t_c=82&t_s=141&t_pt=6506&t_pn=ACI30946
Here's what it took to seal dust out of my '11 5.5' bed. In addition I sealed floor sections with silicon calk. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/dust-s...l-caps-104807/

I put a foam seal on but ended up tearing it off as it was holding dirt and moisture that would probably lead to long term rust issues, as there are seams and holes in the steal in that area.

I installed one of these when I put on my Extang TriFecta, as I have with all my trucks helps to completely seal off water and dust from the bed of the truck! I picked up a roll of tailgate seal from Buff Truckoutfitters by me for )19.99!
