Default New Brakes and Rotors 2013

First, search feature on this site is terrible. Read a lot but couldn't find a definitive answer.

Looking to redo all 4 brakes and rotors, OEM Ford parts do not last. Have 34k on 2013 F150 KR. Rear rotors(replaced under warranty at 19k due to pulsating ) are starting to pulsate. Both pads are at 6/7. Best thing I think is to cut my loses and start anew.

After researching it, seems like this is the best value.

Power Stop (K6268-36) Z36 Extreme Severe-Duty Truck & Tow Brake Kit, Front and Rear

Amazon.com: Power Stop (K6268-36) Z36 Extreme Severe-Duty Truck & Tow Brake Kit, Front and Rear: Automotive Amazon.com: Power Stop (K6268-36) Z36 Extreme Severe-Duty Truck & Tow Brake Kit, Front and Rear: Automotive

Anyone use these? Reviews? Better brakes/rotor combo I missed?

I just put these on my 2013 SCREW FX4 on Saturday. So far it is night and day but I have less than 100 miles on them so far.

I have about 30k on mine. Love the power and smooth braking, no warp at all so far. Only minor complaint is they do squeak a little under very light braking, but not a problem for me.

That's a great price for the whole works. I have Powerstop's with Z26 pads on the front of my Mustang and I'm very happy with them. If I needed brakes on the truck, I'd ****** them up.

I had a vibration induced while braking at 4k miles. Put up with it until 8k miles. Installed the PowerStop Z23 front rotor pad kit. Now at 27k miles, no issues, just solid brake performance.

Thank you everyone. I just purchased them and will install this weekend. Very excited to get away from Ford OEM brakes and rotors!

Does Ford's brake pad for life not apply in the states? I will always buy Ford pads for my vehicle because they will replace for free for the life of my vehicle.

To each there own but the ford OEM motorcraft brakes are not good. The cheapest part of a brake job is the pads. Front and rear cost 80-100 retail so probably less then 50 there cost(being conservative). You still have to pay them labor(most expensive part of any repair), other needed parts, rotors, etc. It's all just marketing to get you to come back to ford for all your service. Not worth the bad brakes!

Motorcraft pads are actually pretty good in my experience. They stop well and they're quiet. Biggest downfall are the rotors. They warp quickly.
I was a Ford mechanic for 7 yrs. I do my own brake jobs. The motorcraft pads here cost $90/set. So all I'm left paying for is approx $150 for a set of decent aftermarket rotors each time. Pretty cheap for a brake job.

I use them on mine. It stops on a dime. I can put my brake pedal to the floor and with my 35's I have all the traction I could ever want so I didn't skid when I did it. If it wasn't for the seatbelts it would have thrown everyone out of their seats.

After they got over it they we amazed at how fast I was able to stop especially in a full sized truck.
