FWIW, I think King Ranch interiors are hideous but you don't see me throwing my opinion around unnecessarily.

NASSTY is right on here. plastidip is not bad for a cheap *** solution, but if its not working or you have a lot of angles, movement, or its just not working then vinyl is the key. especially for an object without a lot of rounding corners.

Haven't given much thought to it yet. I've gotten pretty familiar with PD that's why I went that route first but I'll look into it. Is it removable as well or is it something you're kinda stuck with if you don't like it?

peels off just like plastidip, but more choesive. It also sticks better to all surfaces, especially smooth ones like the panel or paint. a lot of dealers have their logo or something on the back of the truck paint, that is vinyl. just need a plastic squeegee and a hair dryer and you can work it in perfectly.

I'll have to look into that more now. About how much would something like that cost?

It ended up costing me about $70 but that is because the vinyl only comes in 60 inches wide so you have to order a 6 ft piece. Took me about 30 min with a felt covered squeegee and a hair dryer. Took my emblems off first since I was painting them anyway. Got knifeless tape to keep from cutting into the paint and get a straight line. Just look up 6ft vinyl wrap in whatever color you want on amazon. Make sure you get a good quality product (I used 3M). Also cut a few small pieces to practice with and watch a few youtube videos so you can learn what you are doing. Take your time and move slowly with it and it will turn out the same as if a professional did it for you.

Another option would be to go to a local sign shop with the emblems off and have them do it if you are not confident in yourself and getting the vinyl smooth.








And yes, I did the side graphics in the same manner as described above. Just layed out where I wanted all my cuts to be with knifeless tape and got to work.
