This is what I bought last year minus the reverse lights.

Works great, very bright and haven't had any issues.

I received one similar to this one here for Christmas from my Dad. I installed it last month and ended up notching the bump on the passenger side and messaging it flat with some brass stock and a 3 pound hammer. After install I wired it up a few days later. I cut the plug (wish I would have looked for the T connector for removal sake) and soldiered the wires in. In between testing and assembly I lost running lights, but I am not that upset about it. Also during install I managed to break one of the 3 wires that go from the "controller" to the light, after the plug. That may have been where I lost the running lights. Those wires are super thing. Granted there isn't a whole lot of current going through them, but man they are fragile.

What was the verdict on this install?

So, it's for sale... $75 picked up in central NJ, Staten Island or the Queens/Long Island border...

What bracket are you talking about? Can you take a picture?

This is the bracket I'm referring to.

Is this bracket on all 2015-17 F150's?

The first picture is looking under the tailgate & above the bumper and shows the area where the Opt-7 brake light is supposed to be mounted. The bracket, washers & hex screws prevent the light from mounting flush to the body. This bracket is about 8-10 inches from the right side of the body.

The second picture if from the center looking toward the right side of the truck. Sorry for the rotation.

Your posting in the 2009-2014 section.... not sure how much we can help since you have a 2015-2017.

What I can tell you in my 2013, I ordered the 48” one because of a “bump out” of the sheet metal itself on RH side.

I really like the OPT7 sequential bar that I also put one on my 79 year old father’s truck too because he liked it and wanted one! Lol!

Sorry guys, I didn't realize I was in the wrong generation of trucks. I did start another thread and I was advised that trucks with the tailgate step are equipped with this bracket...
I'll see if Opt-7 will accept a return.. if not, I'll list it for sale.

Thanks for the help..
