Default NEVER should have test drove the Ecoboost...

I went for an oil change on my 2010 today and while I was there I test drove a new ecoboost. I never should have done it. I was pretty impressed to say the least, and now I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go test drive the 6.2L and you will drop a deposit on it for sure before you leave the dealer...

I understand.

I went in for service last Tuesday and while I did look at the one EB they had on the lot, I refused the offer from my sales guy, for the test drive, as I already have a high enough 'fever' just from the EB posts on this board.

I am going to wait until the '12 comes out in late summer or early fall and then I will test drive one, just before I am ready to buy it.

Just think this way. When you are finally done paying off your 2010 the EB will be a proven engine and even better when your ready for new truck!!

That's funny right there and may be true. I went in to test drive all three. I started with the ecoboost and at the end of the drive said, "I'm done." It didnt matter if the 5.0 or 6.2 was better or faster. They're all so good that you can't go wrong.

Thats how I ended up with mine! Took an EcoBoost for a drive when my 2010 Lariat was out getting the oil changed and walked away with this:
