Tablet Install: Quick, Easy and Inexpensive
I was trying to come up with a way that I could mount a Samsung 10'' tablet in my truck, but also have it to where it would be easily removable. So while searching YouTube I came across the video in this link.
For those of you that went with kits from soundman or tko, you guys have some sweet setups. However I went with something a little different. I wanted to be able to take the tablet with me whenever I was either in or out of the truck very easily. Here's what I did, I think it turned out pretty decent.
I purchased a Insignia Rotating Folio for 10'' Tablets from Best Buy
I cut off the part that folded over the tablet (the bottom part in the above pic)
Then with industrial strength Velcro I attatched it to my dash. As the pics will show it's very simple and straightforward.
Lift up the rubber mat and place Velcro on flat surface. Then attach the other side of the Velcro to the outside of the flap that is shown in the very first pic.
